Leadership Is Not Being In Charge, It Is About Taking Care Of People In Your Charge

As most people know weak leaders, defined as people who determine being success with how much money they have.

On the other hand, strong leaders’ definition, is people who make difference in other people’s life, people who car about others success, people who help others.

For a good boss in a firm, his success can be by hiring good people, encourage them to do their job, trust them, teach them why and how to do it and bring out the best in them, not just throwing work, tell them what to do and stress them out.

Good people need supporter, someone who encourages them keep them motivated, but the most of all they need a good mentor, a leader who care.

Being a leader is about caring, if you don’t care you don’t deserve to be a leader, too bad too many ‘bosses’ don’t get this.

So, here’s some leadership qualification and characteristic of good leaders:

1. Vision

“Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.” – Jack Welch

Great leaders have a vision, they see into the future, they know where they’re going, and what they are wanting to accomplish.

2. Courage

Having the courage means that you are ready to take the risks while achieving your goals.

3. Integrity

With integrity, you have nothing to fear, since you have nothing to hide. With integrity, you will do the right thing, so you will have no guilt.” – Zig Ziglar

Keep in mind that telling the truth, in every circumstances is the way to trust, truthfulness is the core for the trust, that is so important for any business.

It’s so important of the complete honesty in everything you do.

4. Humility

“The more you can contain your ego, the more realistic you are about your problems. You learn how to listen, and admit that you don’t know all the answers.”

Humility allows you to acknowledge your mistakes.” – Larry Bossidy.

A great leaders are those who are determined and also humble.

You willing to admit you are not ‘Mr know it all’, you’re can be wrong, and you give credit. if someone took a credit for something they knew from you it’s your credit too.

5. Strategic Planning

Always look ahead.

6. Focus

“Successful people maintain a positive focus in life no matter what is going on around them.” –Jack Canfield

Good leaders focus on the results, what the company need, as a leader you should make sure that everyone is focused and they use their time in valuable way.

7. Cooperation

“If your imagination leads you to understand how quickly people grant your requests when those requests appeal to their self-interest, you can have practically anything you go after.” – Napoleon Hill

Having the ability of getting everyone working together is a success, also making people work for you because they want to.
